v0.4.0 - Tech Tree (meta-progression)



I've just finished v1 of the Tech Tree system which is the main meta progression system in the game!
There are 4 trees in the game, one for each commander.
- Mechanic: Engineering
- Researcher: Applied Science
- Surveyor: Logistics
- Pathfinder: Tactics
Each tree contains tech nodes for each commander's starting towers as well as upgrades to different parts of the game. These trees will also be the place where you can unlock new artifacts and tower upgrades to use during a run. As I keep building out the game, these trees will grow, but now I have a system in place where players can progress even if they don't make it through an entire run successfully.
I've also included a sneak peak of two animations for the Surveyor and Pathfinder commanders. These will only be available in the full release, so please look forward to them when they come out!
